Down at Lake Constance, horizon has also become a fixed event in the Friedrichshafen diary. 4,100 visitors from throughout the region made their way to the modern exhibition centre on 17/18 April 2010 to take advantage of the information offering on study and career planning, which also took an international focus.
This year once again exhibitors from across Germany and neighbouring countries were present. Numerous Swiss and Austrian universities and colleges, among them Fachhochschule Ostschweiz and the Vorarlberg University of Applied Science, presented themselves and their course offering.
In addition, renowned companies from the region, such as EADS and ZF, were there to provide information on their integrated degree courses and training courses for school leavers with the Abitur (German general qualification for university entrance).
And, last but not least, there were a number of different offerings on the subject of spending time abroad before or during one's studies.
